In `Electric Light` a lonely cop is getting lonelier. It combines a parody of the science fiction genre and a persiflage of crime movies. It is a surreal and grotesque postmodern cinematic concept stemming from Teuscher`s experience in the fields of classical short, documentary film, theater, performance and media art. With a simplistic, experimental approach, as well as few resources, this purely independent project was produced, written and directed by Teuscher with the support of a large network of artists, designers, jokers, friends, family and believers. Inspired from Werner Fassbinder, all takes were shot only one time. A shooting day was not longer than 8 hours. There was no storyboard, the sequence plan was created spontaniously on set, in reaction to the behaviors of the actors in the room. Danish version of Kjeld Abell's successful musical comedy from 1935. Clerk Larsen loses the melody of his youth, which he had when he met his wife. His happiness and dreams have disappeared in a bourgeois existence. "It was supposed to be so good, and then it was actually bad," as one of the play's popular songs - 'The Song of Larsen' - goes. But then the quest to find the melody again begins.
